BFSConnect: Overview

Welcome to BFSConnect, our new client service portal. This guide will introduce you to the functions and features of BFSConnect.

  1. Logging In as a New User

    • Visit connect.bfs.org.au to access the login page.
    • Log in with your username and password.
    • If you're a new user, click "Register" and follow the sequence of questions to complete your registration.
  2. Homepage Overview

    • Upon logging in, you'll land on your homepage.
    • Here, you can view a summary of your account details and service requests.
  3. Reviewing Applications

    • If you're a signatory on an account, you can review applications and requests requiring your authorisation.
    • Click on "Applications" in the top toolbar and then "Plus New Application" to start the application process.
    • You can also view the status of your applications here.
  4. Service Requests

    • Hover over "Service Requests" in the top toolbar to view the types of requests you can raise within BFSConnect.
    • To submit a request, click on the request name in the menu, then "Plus New."
  5. Pending Consents and Authorisations

    • Review your pending consents and authorisations in the red area of your dashboard.
    • This includes organisation applications and service requests where you're listed as a signatory.
    • Click "Application Pending Consents" to provide your consent to your role and details for each application.
  6. Managing Account Preferences

    • Manage your account preferences, organisation details, and documentation.
    • Make organisation role changes, including adding or removing signatories.
  7. Updating Personal Details

    • Click "My Details" within the login menu to update your personal information, such as date of birth, phone number, email, and addresses.
    • Click "Save" to submit your changes.
  8. Seeking Assistance

    • If you have further questions or need assistance, click the "Request Assistance" button.
    • A BFS team member will be in touch with you promptly.
